  1. I have. Bought a brick at Dick's. No problems so far. Fairly clean. Although I did find a factory damagde round in the box.
  2. Was this the "heat shrink" type of vinyl?
  3. Has anyone else had a problem with the folding stock attaching to the lug near the receiver? When I fold my stock it doesn't want to attached to the lug. Seems very tight, as if the stock clip wont open to accept the lug.
  4. Cabella's has a 1500 round box for $95. About .06 cent a round.
  5. Depends on the local wild life. If bears are around, I would take a .308/7.62. But you have a SKS which I assume is a 7.62x39. That will work too. You'd better check with DNR (Game Warden) on the rules and state law. Self defense is different than hunting, but some of the rules for hunting still apply.
  6. The firearm, the Sig Sauer case, magazine etc was $360 on Gunbroker.com. The scope and bungee sling extra but less than $100.
  7. I got mine today as well. $360. NIB plus the scope. Great little rifle. Good weight, feels solid. Can't wait for its big brother SIG716. See image.
