  1. I use the bore snake in my M&P and it works great. I do have a regular cleaning though for the gun and I use cu-tips also to get the tight spots.
  2. No problem Micro. If they made it a regular casing and not a shorty it would prolly be better.
  3. Update... That sniper ammo is not that amazing. Stick to regular stuff. I used 15 of them and just put the rest back. I expected a totally different shot being sniper ammo and a big bullet but it is weak ammo and ranged for maybe a couple hundred yards. I tried it at 150 and it was low and took a bit to get there. it was very good grouping but a couple jammed in the chamber and had to pop it with a cleaning rod.
  4. I also have the same gun with a 4-16x50 Nikon on it. No issues as far as accuracy and never a misfire or jam. Granted my AR-15's have an acog 4x32 and a 6-24x50 Nikon on them so it is a little stronger view but not much of a difference for accuracy at 600 and under and never a problem. Great coyote gun.
  5. I to have the Dessert Tan. I'm ranged to 300 yards and still inside a 2 inch pattern with the walmart stuff. Imagine the TR with that super sniper ammo. And that Anschutz is a pretty nice looking gun. I have a plainsman .22 that looks alot like it. Here is a pic of my gun without the add ons just the scope. I have a quick detach bipod and a tactial laser kit along with a surefire 290 lumen light.

    .22 Snipers?

Hey everyone, been a while since I've been on. I recently picked up a Savage MarkII TR. I was just wondering if anyone else is into the Sniper style .22's? I went out monday and was sending CCI's down range at 250 yards. Most accurate .22 I've ever had.
  7. So I got bored with how my M&P looked so I did some little upgrades. What do you think? First pic is of it when I first got it. 2nd is most recent upgrades. 3rd just looks kool
  8. I'm looking for a lightly used or new Umarex 416D. Just want it with original sights and mags. Trading my M&P 15-22 with a 2-7x32 Tac scope, Magpul MBUS sights, and a tac foregrip
  9. I have never had any issues with Blazer rounds. I've used them through the past 18 years and they are my favorite .22 round hands down. The newer stuff they make is kinda crappy but if you can find the older boxes you've found gold
  10. I found that Smith and Wesson was actually the cheapest for the 10rd mags and the 25rd were probably just as good. I got them in only a couple of days.
  11. The Sig is a very showy gun. You feel bad to take it out hunting or get it dirty. The M&P feels like a gun that enjoys getting a little dirty. The choice is yours but definately research the gun as far as issues and manufacturer problems. Also do your research if you plan to modify it because depending on what you do it may have some problems with say scope mounting or with sling capabilities. Ya know the little things.
  12. I tried out 6 different rounds today in my M&P and my GSG. Awesome time! Here's the result of the shoot. *Remington Golden Bullets(Dicks bulk pack $19.99) *Federals(Walmart bulk pack $15.99) *Winchester Dyna-Points(Walmart Bulk pack $15.99) *CCI Mini-Mag(Dicks $9.99) *CCI Velocitors(Dicks $9.99) *Remington Subsonic(Walmart $1.99) Out of these six the Federals and the CCI Velocitors had zero FTF's out of 600 and were dead nuts. The Winchesters were next with 10 FTF's out of 500 and also dead nuts which was surprising. Mini-mags were next with 9 FTF's out of 40 and did also have 2 jammers and shots were off just a touch. I stopped on the ninth FTF and unloaded them. Subsonics were next in line with 7 FTF's out of 50, 4 jams, and holes all over the 9 and bulls-eye. Last and certainly least is the Golden Bullet. Now when I was younger these were top of the line. Now they are at the bottom with 20 FTF's out of 100, 5 jammers, and holes all over the paper after 6 shots. Some rounds sounded like they didn't have enough powder. Was pretty awesome though. *NOTE- All shooting was done at a range with a licensed firearms instructor and range director on hand to record results for a local shooting group.
  13. M&P with 2-7 scope and bipod foregrip. I have a set of magpuls on it not and a single point tac sling
  14. Put 1100 rounds through the M&P in the past couple days. The federals aren't giving me any issues but my packs of CCI Mini-Mags are pure crap. Some of them are jamming upon chamber entry and some of them i can pop the bullet out of the casing without trying. Some of them even had a wax like coating. I called CCI and explained the situation and they said I must have used them improperly. My friend then picked up a pack of them from a different shop and he had the same issue. The Federals and even Winchester Dyna-Points shoot better than them. He also called CCI and they told him the same thing. The only thing we use em for now is our single shot target rifles. Does anyone know if they are doing something different with the ammo. I have Mini's and Blazers from a few years ago that I have no issues with and I love the brand but now I'm not so sure they are worth the price.
