its been 8 months since i shot my colt 22, and its still hard to find ammo here in southern CA. im lookin for CCI blazers round nose 40 grain or the winchester max .42 grain. ill buy em off u. LOL
sup guys, i think ive already asked this question.. but i was just wondering.. about scopes... i have an ACOG style 4x32 scope. do u guys use a riser? does the iron sights get in the way? wer do u guys mount the scope? more front?? more rear??? and do u guys zero it at 100 yards? 50 yards? if u zero it at 100 yds... is there a compensation shooting at 50 yards? sorry for the beginner questions.. but i was just wanna make sure of things. thanx.
ya. thers that screw u adjust. screw needs to be flushed with standard velocity and 3-5 full turns with HV. i have mines at 2 full turns, shot great with the CCi velocitors with Muzzle Velocity: 1435 feet per second. man, id really wanna try this on my colt, except.. its always sold out and i cant seem to find them in stores. my theory is that since the grain is a little bigger, it would slide in easier in the chamber ramp.. or how ever u want to call it. (not that i get plenty of jams) and the bullet is alot more stable when shooting 100- 200 yards.
