  1. So I got a reply from S&W customer support and it will be at least another 8 weeks before we see any spare mags for the pistol stateside from Walther - :-[ Other than that they said the screw on barrel extension for a suppressor should show up around the same timeframe.
  2. Yep it fits on the 15-22, just remove the flash hider and crush washer and you will be good to go:
  3. Rodent is spot on... these little bullets sometimes need a bit of a shuffle in the mag to help them properly stack so the top round has a slightly upward angle. I think it probably cuts down on mag reloading time quite a bit and when you blow through 3-400 rounds in an afternoon I'll trade that for it not looking exactly like its big brothers.
  4. Pics it is! The last 2 are the S&W sitting next to my new SA XD(m) 9mm 5.25" for comparison. If I can steal my friends Walther P22 for a few minutes this weekend I will post a few comparison pics.
  5. Yea was cold here in NH this weekend but we took it out to the pit and put about 250 rounds through it. Initial impressions were excellent - CCI Minimag, CCI Stingers, Federal Bulk all went through with no issues. The added weight, full size frame, and excellent trigger made for much more predictable, accurate, and repeated shots versus the Walther P22. The only drawback so far is the single mag - took longer than we would have liked with the reloading.
  6. I picked up a 100-pack of CCI Sub Sonic ammo last week and put 50 rounds through the 15-22. It was silly how quiet that stuff was and it was still moving at 1050fps per the box. Can't even imagine how quiet this will be - any updates on when it is hitting the shelf?
  7. Any insight into particular ammo preferences? Seems like most places I read say it's happy with pretty much anything from Winchester white box to Fiocchi to Sellier & Bellot......
  8. Placed an order today for the Springfield XD(m) 9mm in black - was a toss up between that and the Glock 17 but after holding them both the Springfield fit my grip better and just felt more natural - though I can't fault the Glock 4th Gen which is very nice as well.
  9. Anyone find a source yet for extra mags? can't believe it only came with one and nobody seems to have any.....
  10. Welcome Rick - another member of beautiful SW New Hampshire!
  11. Just picked this up too - on it's way to my FFL right now. I like the P22(my buddy owns one), but it felt small in my hands so I am eager to try this out. Built by Walther but curious to see if it has any of the issues the P22 seems to exhibit. Seemed like a nice compliment to my S&W 15-22 and at 335 shipped I was all over it.
  12. Wanted to post a few pics of my current setup: Bushnell TRS-25 Red Dot Sight Bushnell 4-12x40 Trophy XLT DOA Scope Weaver offset rail adapter UTG Tactical OP Bipod Accushot 1-Inch High-Pro rings UTG Deluxe Foregrip CenterPoint Laser Sight UTG Rail covers Gemtech Outback II Supressor (inert)
  13. Did some scope adjustment this weekend and at ~100 yards we were seeing groups of 5 rounds roughly the diameter of a coke can. This was laying in a truck bed with a bipod using CCI rounds and shooting through a Bushnell Trophy XLT 4-12x40.
  14. $400 + $25FFL Transfer fee 2 weeks ago - already pushed 1000 rounds through it without a single issue - love this thing!
  15. Thanks guys - just ordered the Gemtech
