I got a reply from Rich Thomas with NcStar today. He says they're working on getting the green lasers small enough to use in their optics and the green is much better. He also says the performance that I'm experiencing is pretty typical :'(
Yes, never could see the laser at the range. Other problem is it's mounted to the left of the boreline, so it's only good for one certain range shot. They should have put it over or under!
Good news is the scope is awesome for a .22 :D I took it out with my daughter and let her shoot my airsoft MP-5. I killed 3 "blackbirds" with one shot a piece! She was impressed and she loved the MP-5 ;D
One of my buddies brought a green laser just so we could see, world of difference. I need to contact NcStar, for the money I paid this thing should shoot itself and then some!
If anyone else has one of these, I am curious to know if your laser functions at all except indoors? My is only visible about 7 yards outdoors at the range.
So far the Federal cheap bulk has been flawless. The Remington had feed issues with several rounds being bent in almost half by the bolt (scary). Feel free to post any pix I've sent you, the smiley face is my favorite btw:)
