  1. I've just bought this CMMG Sierra upper too. Has anyone had problems with a notched/standard hammer? Also, would this be picky on the magazine and ammo? I'm planning to use the Black Dog magazines that were designed for it, with Federal Champion ammo. EDIT: I've exchanged it for the LEP upper. It works fine with my notched hammer and Black Dog and CMMG magazines. But, I always shoot slowly for accuracy anyways. No ammo issues with the upper at all. And the Black Dog magazines seem to fit my Delton lower better than the CMMG even when they're fully loaded to the 10 rounds for CA. Also, both brands of magazines have the follower poke up high into the breech, so that blocks the bolt until you remove the mag, so that acts almost like a BHOA.
  2. It's the recoil giude spring that Sig Sauer gave with the gun. There's two; one for standard ammo and one for HV ammo.
  3. I used the heavier spring that Sig Sauer gave me. I also used Remington Cyclone HV ammo. It seems that the recoil is not strong enough to fully cycle the action. Therefore, the gun jams every shot. Is there something else causing the jams?
  4. A question: Are the Magpul sights just for the front or also for the rear?
  5. I've tried Remington Cyclone and CCI Mini-Mags so far. I like the CCIs a lot more than the Remingtons. Remingtons had some misfeeds and bending of cartridges by the bolt. Remington seems to only make good ammo for centerfire, but suck for rimfire. I also have a bulk pack of Federal Champions. Haven't tried that yet though. Edit: Tried the Federal Champions. Great! No problems.
  6. My MP 15-22 has the 10-round mag, but it looks exactly like the 25-round version. I guess S&W modified the 25-round mag to 10 for CA. Yes. CA always has alot of gun restrictions. >:(
  7. This gun range is in Elk Grove, California. I've read really bad reviews online on employees/management, so I don't think talking to anyone will help. *sighs*
  8. The guy seemed to know that it was a dedicated .22LR, but he said that the policy at the range forbids any rifle that looks like an AR.
  9. Hi. I just went to an indoor range that allows pistols of any caliber, shotguns, and rimfire rifles, but they didn't allow me to shoot my S&W, even though it's a rimfire. I'm curious; why is this? Is it because the S&W is more powerful than a regular .22 rifle?
