Did a little shooting today to sight in my optics. Such a fun gun. Ended up with a few other guys that were at the range wanting to try out the 522. Might have some converts. Funny to see a bunch of grown men crowded around a .22 rifle while my girlfriend unloads magazine after magazine of .45 from my new (to me) Kimber Ultra Tactical II.

I use the Magpul AFG on my AR so I got one for my Sig 522. I'm not much of a vert grip person except for on my AK where I feel like I can be a little less precise and get the job done.

I got my optics from Primary Arms. Great stuff for the price and really good customer service. They sell out fairly quickly because of their excellent reputation on AR-15.net but if you join their mailing list you'll be the first to know when new stuff arrives.

Does anyone know a good source for factory magazines for the 522's? I've done a little looking online but it seems like most places are out of stock or outrageously priced. I just got a good deal on ammo from a guy on another forum where I'm a member so I currently have 5500 rounds of ammo and one magazine. ;D

Thanks for the comments all. The mailman came today and left some goodies on the porch. Added the Magpul flip downs and the angled foregrip today.
