It's really cold here in the south plains it didn't get above freezing again yesterday.

I took my Remington 700 sps to the range today and shot some of the reloads I have done for it. I used 69 grain Sierra match kings with IMR 4895 and cci bench rest primers. It was a little chilly and there was a lumpy 10-15 mph side wind. The target was at 100 yards. I enjoyed my days shooting.

This part of the reason I learned to reload myself my misinformation hunting ammo is loaded with a holiday sat 150 grain Spitzer bullet and 20 rounds cost $35 a box and I can reload them for 35 cents

I've stopped shopping there to its cheaper for me to reload my 223 and 7.62x54r

So how do you load the magazine. I would move to a more gun friendly state

2014 seems to have started ok I just hope to get some fishing anf a lot more trips to the rifle range in the next few months.

We had a quite new years and were not paged out but the sheriffs deputys had a busy night C:-)

I am starting to reload 223 remington for my remington 700 sps tactical with a 1 in 9 twist rate and I have reloaded with 55 grain sierra prohunter and Blc (2) with good results iam now going to try with 69 grain sierra match kings with imr4895 and cci br4 small rifle.primers. I was wondering what primers powders and bullets do you use and what the results are like.

I finally got to shoot my remington 700 sps tactical in .223 the weather couldn't have been better the sun was shining and not even a breeze I spent the time to break the barrel cleaning it after each shotfor the first five shots then cleaning after every five rounds for the next 50 rounds (I don't know if it works or not but its worth the try. Iam am really impressed with how acurate this rifle is I can't wait to shoot it again.

My better half got me some black hills 6 hole saddle low scope rings and a set of lee .223 resizing dies.

I have been using strelok ballistics calculator on my galaxy s3 its a free download. Once you have loaded all your rifle, scope and ammo data like bullet weight, bullet coieffiency, Muzzle veloicty. Its a good piece of software. Iam not going in to details but if you have an android I would suggest looking it up in the google play store.

I like your car :thumb: I like jap cars they are a lot better built than korean. I have a hyundai accent to go to work in it does 40 to the gallon and I drive 50 miles roind trip to work and it costs $25 a week to fill it up.
