  1. i have a box of nasty .22 pick ups from various sources. rifle was box stock and set by factory This is my general report .22 eley pistol club .22 eley pistol lr .22 eley pistol match .22 rws pistol match about 500+ rounds.... the pistol ammo is at best used to annoy the shooter as it isn't reliable with many many FTF. rws HV rws econ rws rifle match rws r50 eley match eley tenex eley tenex eps cci standard cci green label magtech standard this stuff is pretty good all told shot 1000+ mixture. most of the ammo is at least 10 years old and alll but 3 did not go bang. my rifle seems unfussy about whichever ammo it uses, although the match rounds and the HV definitely shoot flatter than the standard velocity economy ammo. i hope this helps... cheers, TM
  2. solscud...for the butt is the buffer tube mil spec or commercial spec? I was looking at a MOE stock...if only my dealer will bring one in.... thanks, guy
  3. I've got one and I don't want to spend too much more, still half of the fun of these things is to jazz them up. I was thinking millet DMS, burris peppr mount, a command arms mount for a surefire 6P i have spare Some OD rail covers and a OD mil spec magpull MOE Anything else you think i should have for a 50 yard plinker? that wants to grow up to be a proper black rifle hahahaha any advice is more than welcome especially on what bits that fit to buy. thank you very much, TM
  4. I'm trapmonkey i teach shooting, sell safaris all over the world on weekends on weekdays, i write about food(articles, cook books, recipes etc) and do restaurant consultancy...i am not sure which is my day job...but i make out ok. I am a young cancer survivor i'll be 37 in oct and got cancer at 35...I am in complete remission now praise the lord and I hope i can stay that way until i'm an old codger. i love shooting and hunting...i cannot remember when I didn't so I'm extremely lucky to be able to continue doing what i love. If i'm not shooting or hunting, then i'm scuba diving or walking the dog. I live in singapore, but at one time spent some time in the UK and in the midwest. I hope to learn on these forums about these cute little guns we affectionately know as tactical .22s ;) many thanks, Guy ps i sometimes spell funny or get my foot in my mouth. Apologies in advance.
