Mr.Jones I totally agree with you on the retired military. I am former member of the USN and work for the Marine Corps as a Communications Technical Expert for II MEF. I have dealt with this type of BS in many places including the local Walmart. Where a retired recon Gsgt wants to talk to me about how you have had to be in recon to know how to use an M16. I looked at him like man you need to get a grip. He talked trash about the 10/22 I was trying to purchase. He was the sales person in sporting goods. Needless to say he lost a sale. What gives these guys the right to talk smack about anything. I served just like they did and I have been in the field with these guys teaching them the latest and greatest communications that the US Gov as saw fit to purchase. I hear this mess at the gun shops and the range at times. I just laugh at them and start an argument and wall off. What is really bad is when the Marine and Army guys go at each other over the same stuff. Last I checked we all have been stood duty and risked our lives assuming the same risk. I have guys that I taught a week before they went to Iraq that did not come back after they deployed. One was killed three weeks later. We have all took the oath and no where in it does it say you are better than the next man who risked his life. "Weekend Warrior" hmmm Ohio National Guard lost almost 30 people from that unit. When duty called they were on that line with pride. I dont mean to drag this out or go off topic but it just pisses me off. Anyway I love my 10/22 and this site.HAPPY SHOOTING GUYS
