  1. hey guys. got a new "fun" gun! wasr-10 with some goodness on it. despite the cruddy reputation that both wasr-10s and the ak have for being accurate this one shoots pretty good. 2.5-3" at 100yrds
  2. .223 cal that nikon scope is the m223...wow it is nice as hell. gun shoots incredible. took it out and shot to 300yrds, was able to hit sporting clays set on edge with no misses at that distance. it was a very calm day too, that always helps
  3. Needs a B&C medalist stock but that will come later, it's not quite tacticool yet but it sure is a tack driver! (.35" and .52" 5 shot groups at 100yards...how's that for out of the box sub-MOA accuracy?!)
  4. anyone know if any of the aftermarket companies are planning to release a non-tensioned based replacement barrel for the colt/umarex .22rifles. something like the tac.sol. type 1-piece design that would accept threaded brakes would be cool. any thoughts? rumors?
  5. yea, it's the little el cheapo red dot i had in the cabinet. have a new scope coming soon so excited to try it out when it gets in.
  6. our M16 SPR, shoots pretty good
  7. Just want to put my 2 cents in on this topic. Have got about 3000 rounds through our Colt/Umarex M16 SPR by now. Have noticed multiple instances with the Federal bulk packs being really hit or miss in terms of quality and ease of use. Have shot about 1000rnds of the the Blue/Grey Box Federal 500 count 40gr HV 1000rounds of the Federal 550 count 36gr HV and a little over a 1000rnds of the CCI Mini-Mag. By far the CCI is the most consistent in terms of loads and operation. Have experienced no FTF or FTE with these rounds. The shots consistently sound crisp and the same. They leave little residue behind compared to the federal stuff and I can shoot 500+ rounds during a day at the range and not worry about having to break the gun down in between mags to continue shooting. A touch more expensive but worth the extra $$$ for hassle free operation. My experience with the federal ammo has been terrible. Lots of FTE and FTFs. They leave the breech and barrel filthy and actually make my girlfriend nervous. We went to the range today and shot some of the CCI we had left from the last time, about 400 rnds and had no problems. We were out of that so opened a pack of the federal stuff and within 100rnds were already having lots of problems. Our time at the range was over after we had a round FTE and i couldn't safely get the dang thing out with the tools on hand. Tatum told me straight up she wasn't going to shoot anymore of the Federal ammo anymore so don't buy it. I have to agree with her, it's just not worth the irritation. So if you guys are ever in a toss up between the federal and the CCI...get the CCI!
  8. had this happen on my lady's corrolla. went to auto zone and got the same read off the scan computer. replaced the distributor wires and cleaned the plugs and have had no trouble for the last 10k miles. hope that helps some. ours was a $50 fix
  9. hey guys. what is the deal with these CMMG .22lr? they are suppose to operate just like an AR-15 correct? what is the difference between the Quebec .22 and the M4LEP22 versions? they are both gas operated and have a true 1 piece barrel correct? i'm super interested in these things as an alternative to the Umarex/HK 416 and was just wondering what the real advantage was other than it being "mil-spec" and hopefully easier to clean/breakdown. any input would be great.
  10. did the ask for an FFL for this? i got all the way to the payment page with my checkout and was never required to input anything. do they call after the order has been placed to verify? interesting to know if you could actually order at that price and have it shipped to your home without an FFL
  11. hey there guys. Bought the umarex/colt m16 spr from academy for my girlfriend and I to shoot together. We have had one day at the range and had a blast. really like it, but she does not share well! Need to look at getting my own. Really like the looks of the HK 416 and excited about some of the improvements. Ready to grab one up but have not seen them anywhere local. Looking forwarding to learning and hopefully contributing some here.
