I've used one at work and I loved it! I passed it around to af ew guys at the range that are notorious for "chicken-winging" their rifles. It definately cut down on that. I had my wrist rebuilt a few years back, so it is a much more comfortable shooting grip for me.
For Christmas, grandpa gave her a pink set of tools, so she can help. She has been asking when we are gonna work on the project truck, the jeep, her bike, or anything else she can come up with. I'm thinking the pink TAPCO stock might have to be the first purchase.
The one my mom got from her grandfather is a bolt gun. She can learn iron/open sight shooting, weapons saftey, and fundamentals of position with it. The one I want to build her is probably going to be based on a ruger action. She asked if I trusted her a few months back and when I told her yes, she asked for a rifle. Damn near made me cry tears of pride!
Good day to all! I am a navy Corpsman at Camp Pendleton, Ca. Just grabbed another 22 and am working on trying to figure out a build for my 8 year old for her first rifle.
