the lacking of iron sights is kind of a pain I will give you that. But the more I paly around with the gun the more I like it. The feel of the GSG I have is kind of toyish, where as the 522 feels more like a rifle.

that is true! :beer: Hey anthing will do that gets me out shooting. Ohh also my oldest is 5yr and wanted so bad to hold on to dads new green toy (his words no mine) So I let him shoot a few rounds out the bad door before momma got home :grin:

Found this little forum the other day while looking for info on the sig 522. Great place with all kinds of good ideas and topics. I just got my green sig 522 yesterday, and I also have a GSG-5. So far the sig looks to be built like a tank compaired to the GSG-5. I hope to get out this weekend and shoot some. :thumb:
