I am going to purchase an adapter once the Suppressor gets here. I dont remember getting a wrench for he Flash Suppressor. I will have to check the Box the Rifle came in.

Figured I coud share the Element II with my son, If I can ever find one of those new Ruger 22/45 Lite to purchase. I have yet to hold one in my Hands.

Anyone here using a AAC Element II on their 416 ? I ordered one for my sons Gun.

Took my son to the range yesterday. He used his rifle to pierce this hole into a Chucky Cheese Token at 20 yards. This Scope was off a bit slightly left and low, I told him I would adjust it for him but he said no, he will compensate for the for the adjustments, sure enough his second shot was a clean hit.

Ok, so this justifies building a Hydraulic Press even more to work on this Gun, if I have to, and all my AK 47's. Thanks for all the info, hopefully I will never have to pull the Barrel apart.

Is the Outer Barrel Sleeve pressed into the Receiver ?

1,500 rounds CCI, and the cheapo Remington Subsonics. Not one problem. I was kind of concerned that we would have problems with the Subsonics but I was wrong, ate them up and spit them out. My son is happy.

Ok, here is the "Wedge" I made to keep the Bolt open while cleaning my son's Gun. I used one of those Paint mixing Sticks they give away free in Home Depot. I traced the shape of the inner part of the charging handle with paper and a pen, then cut and shape until it fit. Cheap and works great. I realy got tired of trying to hold the Bolt open while cleaning so I had to come up with some kind of contraption to make things easier. URL=http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/545/im013947.jpg/]

I made a tool or wedge out of wood to hold the Bolt open while I clean my sons Gun. That works pretty good for me. We have not had one fail to eject or fail to feed since I got him this Gun, even with the cheap Remington Subsonics, works great.

Sure can. Just like rabies said they are going for $20 right now at Primary Arms. Christmas sale.

I still remember the great feeling when my dad bought me my first BB Rifle. I spent hours after school in y backyard just shooting at a Broom Stick propped up against a piece of Plywood. I just wanted my son to experience the same joy I had as a kid, from BB Guns to the real Guns.

Bought this Green dot holo sight for one of my sons Christmas presents, I also got a Tac Light, and a 10 round magazine. I did not receive the light when I took this pic. He will be so surprised when he sees his Gun Christmas morning. The CQB sight is a Primary Arms Sight along with the mount.

Remington Subsonic is what I tested my sons Gun with. It ran flawless no jams 200 rounds. I figured if it cycles that stuff it would cycle anything. I did not even mess with the adjustment spring. Testing it with a Suppressor is another thing.

Has anyone tried Subsonic Ammo with this Rifle as yet? I plan on buying some to test how reliable it will cycle. If it passes the test I will get a Can for it.

Sounds good. Why replace something that works, but its good to know there is a back up option.

rodent.22, Thanks for chiming in on this subject. Lothar Walther Custom Barrel Shop is the ones that said they could make a Barrel. Goes to show when you have a Company spread across the Globe, one Hand does not know what the other Hand does. If the Barrel is Brazed to the upper Receiver, then you are correct, nothing can be done to upgrade. BUT, if the Barrel is brazed to the sleeve around it, then screwed into the Upper Receiver, then it could be replaced with a complete new Fluted Competition Barrel. The reason I want to replace the Barrel is to get rid of the Sleeve, and to install a real Barrel without a Sleeve.
