No human alive could turn the knob! the efforts were certainly funny enough, so gunsmith says "send it back". I had it off the gun, turned it over and saw small hole right under the "detent pin". I ask gunsmith for paper clip, stuck it in very tight hole, prodded & poked (had flashback to age 15) and Bam! fixed & works great. I'm just another 22LR addict! Ruger 10/22's & Charger, S&W MP 15/22, '64 US High Standard 103 Citation target pistol, etc. Then again a .223 addict as well...
