Do they make a forarm for the GSG522-SD that has a picatinny rail, Id like to mount a flashlight on mine, but not sure if the ones i found will work on the SD model. Thx in advance Mbailey
Had my GS at the range today.....It functioned flawlessly using Federal Premium Champion Target, 745, 22LR, 36 Grain. What an amazingly fun gun to shoot. I had 3 or 4 folks (who were shooting their ARs) come up to look at it, hold and shoot it. I think GSG just got 3 or 4 more sales :thumb: One gent walked away with a grin on his face larger than the Cheshire Cat. I usually spend my money on custom 45s and on higher end rifles so I was leary about buying a $375.00 plinker. Not any more, cant wait to get it back out! I do believe ive come over to the dark side <insert Darth Vader emoticon> ;D Micro, do you know if the forend with the integrated light will fit the SD models? And is the conversion kits (sights, hex screws etc) worth putting on the gun?
Im sorry, i should have said that I knew it would require the tax stamp. Yea, im not opposed to the getting it (the stamp), I have a M2 Carbine and am familiar with the paperwork. The local Sheriff is my brother in law (it helps with the paperwork) I was just curious if the items were available. On a side note, Im taking it to the range tommorow for the first run, I dont know whos more excited, me or my 11yrold son lol
Just purchased the SD mod, I was wondering if there is a conversion kit, or if i could buy the parts to convert it to a Carbine model, ie foregrip and shorter bbl? Thanks in advance Mbailey
Howdy folks, greetings from the great state of PA, just purchased a GSG 522sd and figured i had best join the best .22 forum out there. Look forward to chatting with you gents and ladies :thumb:
