TM what hand guard ? I have the carbine not the ops :confused:

I have a colt m4 carbine and was trying to take the delta ring off . Does it unscrew ?Do you need a special wrench?I need to rotate the barrel shroud to move the front sight post and was told there is a set screw under the delta ring you have to losen to move the barrel shroud?

Welcome the colt m4 is a great rifle I would put mine up aginst any other brand :grin:

Went out and shot it yesterday and had great resualts. Started out with 100 minimags and then 100 winchester m-22 and then 200 blazers . Only had one failure to fire on the M-22 but everything else fired perfectly! Very nice .22 hand gun I'm a big guy so the sr22 and walter p22 were out becasue they didn't fit my hand. It was bettween the m&p and the sig mosquito. The m&p felt very comfortable and balanced. Didn't mess with the sights just shot it out of the box and its pretty accurate,I was hitting golf balls at 15 yards with no problem.Really like it ,glad I chose this one :grin:

Bought a new M&P .22 pistol friday and get to pick it up today! I Know its a Smith and Wesson but it is still built by Walter. My colt has 2250 rounds threw it and not one failure! I hope this M&P will live up to the hipe ! :grin:

Just got back from the range and tried out the winchester m22 rounds.Picked them up at my local Dunhams sporting good store for 45.00 for a box of 1000 rounds . Shot 500 of them with out any problems and seems to be pretty accurate . Very happy with the ammo and seems to be pretty clean . :thumb:

Ya when I got home the chamber was fithy so I bore snaked it and cleaned the chamber . She is ready to go once agin. I can't belive I have not even had a ftf this gun has shot every round iI have put in it ! :thumb:

Went to the range today with my colt m4 carbine . I Have 1850 rounds through it and not one hickup just rock solid shooting ! Shoot 550 rounds today from stingers to velocitors to blazers to mini mags and it shoot very tight groups of 1 and a half inches at 50 yards with a center point dot sight . Got board and set up some golf balls and shot gun shells for fun and they did not stand a chance !I love this gun . I'm glad I bought a colt :thumb:

techmike the holes that the take down pins go threw on the slide housing are ovaled and the pin is sloppy .when i first got my gun every thing was tight now there is a little wiggle bettwen the upper and lower .I don't know if this is the way the gun is suppoesed to be? I tightend the muzzle brake 1/4 turn and checked the grip and all is tight there. I also noticed the bolt on the slide halfs were lose the last time i cleaned it . also the trigger group halfs were lose to . i wonder if this is how the holes in the slide housing became elongated ? The guy I talked to at umarex said if I sent the gun in they would just put over sized pins in it ? he also said there should be a little wiggle bettwen the upper and lower ? :confused:

I called Umarex today to see how much a slide housing was . I was told that you can't buy individual pieces for the gun they only sell uppers and lowers ? :confused:

mcheath does your gun have any play between the upper and lower at all .
