I'll be going with the Ruger, after the replies here and a few reviews on YouTube it seems like a solid pistol and at $325 or so can't really go wrong.

Going to be picking up a .22 pistol in the next 4-6 weeks and right now I'm leaning towards the Ruger SR22P but also looking at the Sig Mosquito. Anyone here use one or the other or both and can give me some opinions on these guns. Also open to recommendations for another .22 pistol. Thanks, Jeff

Hello from California, new to this site and finally getting back in swing of things as far as firearms go, it's been quite a while. I pick up my first .22 tomorrow (lame 10 day waiting period here). I bought myself a Sig 522 and am really excited to take it out to the range and make swiss cheese out of some paper. Glad I found this site, I'll be reading up on the forums... BTW, any recommendations as far as ammo goes? Jeff
