Just slapped that FleaBay red dot on it for now. 30 for 30 at 75 yds on a silhouette (18''x30'')

No Dan. I have a M4 carbine that I removed the hand guard from and installed a troy 11'' battle rail on. It looks longer due to the fake can i have installed on it probably.

My receiver broke and i sent it off to the manufacturer for warranty work. I should have it back in a week or so. I am about to start a month long job of 7 - 12s so it will be some time. :(

Colibri Ammo I see it all the time. It is powderless? Is the bullet very fast ? Use or need or PROS/COns?

I dont think it is weldable it looks like pot luck aluminum of low quality. There is a lot of tiny holes in it.

TechMike. If the gun was no longer functioning as designed was it or would it stop after the trigger was pulled or would it run away until all rounds were shot?

^^^^^ Just out of curiosity, what springs would one need to change out and where would you get them. This is for curiosity only. I am interested in this mod maybe one day. I have a trust but would need to further review to see how to register this so called Full AAuto gun.

So TechMike i think did a very rookie mistake. I tried to get my barrel nut off of the M4 carbine. I locked my receiver into a vise and attempted to loosen counter clockwise. The thin piece of metal around the receiver pin at the front of the upper broke. Totally unrepairable. I do not think this was negligence from my doing but not real sure. The barrel nut is really on there. I guess i am going to write umarex and see if they can help.

Got a chance to pick up four hundred or so rounds of rat shot 22lr for 60$. I assume no one has any luck of it cycling in semi autos

I will check out the for sale thread. I was wanting to go longer. So in theory i can take off the front sights fill the holes and replace with standard AR-15 furniture?

Yeah he does good work. An old high school friend of mine did the work. He also dipped my wife's benelli in Muddy Girl Camo.

I have one in 22 lr. and 22 wmr. Gun shoots flawlessly. For around the house snake deterrents and such its a must for me. I leave it on my tractor with 22 wmr rat shot.

So new barrel nut that comes with a regular AR handguard should thread right onto a M4 carbine and work just fine?

So from what i gather i can put any Mil spec handguard on the M4 carbine with a new barrel nut. But if i had the OPS version then i could only use air soft AEG hand guards.

Ok i am sure no one wants to read another handguard thread but i have read several and keep getting different answers. So long story short, I have a Colt/Umarex M4 carbine 22 lr. It has the polymer handguard. I am wanting to know if i can put regular mil spec AR free float handguards on these or do i need to go with the air soft kind. If so will i need to change out barrel nuts or anything else. A little clarification would be nice. i plan on looking for a mid length hand guard in aluminum for around 50$ and i would prefer top rail only types if anyone has a lead on one.
