Airedale
I don't own one but shot them recently. I was fortunate to shoot the Shooting Industry Masters match. One of the stages was a .22 rimfire stage. The rifles were SR-22s, the ammo was some bulkpack type nothing fancy ammo. This stage consisted of starting at low ready, engaging 10 steel targets, dumping the rifle, running ~15 ft., pick up another SR-22 and shoot 10 steel. Each shooter made 3 runs. If I remember correctly, there were about 360 shooters. The RO's told me they were just shooting the SR-22s with Rem oil and they ran without hitch. The rifles were smoking hot and they had no problems.I am impressed with the SR -22.Dave
asmurff
Sounds like fun, I like to know how many round went thru the rifles on average.
Airedale
Talking with the stage ROs, they said they would run somewhere between 1500-2000 rounds through them before the rifle would come off the line. They would then run a brush and patch through, shoot some oil and ready them to go back on the line.Dave
asmurff
The 10/22 mechanism is so reliable :auto:
