asmurff
I got to go shoot the Kel Tec today but only 37 rounds since all the ammo I could find was one box of 50. Since I wanted to be able to load the pistol and one magazine afterwards I kept 13 rounds. It fired flawlessly, no FTF or FTE. I fired slow aimed shots for about half, and rapid fire the other half.It hits where it is aimed although the sights are tough to use. At 3 yards I was able to keep aimed groups to less than 1/2". The rapid fire I was able to keep them on the >:D Gnome's body (yes I know very unscientific) which is roughly 3" x 3". I didn't go back any futher since if this is the only gun you carry you need to be shooting and scooting. I'll keep a 1911 or Beretta in my vehicle for back-up if I carry this one.I have nothing to measure the trigger pull with, but it wasn't bad, much less than my Beretta 92 in double action. I'd guess the advertised 5 pounds is about right.Only being able to get two fingers on the grip was weird but doable, I have the extensions coming from Kel Tec. I also ordered a Handall Jr. Grip Sleeve from Hogue since the thin grip pushes rather hard into the meaty area between thumb and forefinger.Overall I like it and it fills a niche for me. I'll shoot it enough to remain proficient with it, but fun plinking won't be it's use.
steel609
Very good range report Smurf!I have the Kel-Tec P11 and PF9. IMO, they are very underrated as an excellent CCW.
asmurff
I was able to locate some ammo this week so I'll get to shoot is again tomorrow. I also found some Remington Golden Saber HPJ to keep it loaded with.I got in the magazine extensions and the Hogue over grip and it feels much more comfortable in my hand.
