Parts Availability Sig 522

First time owner of a Sig product and was wondering about parts orders from Sig.  Have had PKIT-522-RS on order since 02/04/14 and was told today 02/18/14 that these parts are on back-order for at least another 8 weeks.  Is this normal to have no parts on the shelf at Sig ready to ship?  I have searched around and cannot find suppliers of Sig 522 parts other than Sig.

You Sig experts have any insight?

As an update to the above parts post, 24 hours later I received an e-mail stating my parts order has been shipped.  A coincidence?  Thank you Tactical22 for being there.
