Piller bedding a Savage MKII

I have never done a pillar bedding and it looks like my new Savage MKII is a great candidate, even though I am giving very strong consideration to a different stock. Any way, My Mark II has 3 action lugs and only two are being used, first question would be do all MKII's have three lugs? and is there any reason not to pillar in all three? the unused action lug is the one with the screw driver pointed at it.
