  1. I bought one tonight :thumb:. A guy had to get out of it quick because of $$ problems and i couldn't pass it up.
  2. Midway had them on sale for $16 recently.
  3. I bought one used recently. I put 550 rounds through it yesterday and 200 over lunch on Thursday. It's a nice gun. I've upgraded my grip to a Hogue, removed the mag safety and replaced the bump back with a smooth. Mine shoot best with the #3 sight on the front.
  4. I own one of the CMMG Quebec A models. I love it. It was worth the $$ for it. I also got a .223 upper and 9 mm when I bought mine. Now I can shoot anything with it.
  5. I want one but I'm afraid it's going to be really heavy on the gun when it's not on the tri-pod.
  6. I have a whole stack of them in my gun case. I had issues where I'd get 20 rounds in it then the 21st round would cause spring bind and you could pour out the rounds out of the magazine. The issue I found with it was two fold. First, the magazine was bolted together to tight. I loosened the screws and tightened them evenly. Secondly, hand loading the mags is an exercise in patience. You have to make sure that the rounds are stacking properly. You can use a Cristie's loader and fix this. I came up with another method of loading 10 rounds, thumping it on the counter, load ten, thump it on the counter until the magazine is full. The thumping method keeps the rounds stacked right. It takes a few cycles of the magazines to get them to hold the full amount of rounds. You may also have to grind 2 little tabs on the back of the magazine down to have it fit properly in the magwell for your gun. All of mine had to be ground down to fit right.
  7. I gotta tell you those guys know a thing or two about AR's :thumb: One of the best gun purchases I've ever made.
  8. It looks heavy. Is it heavy when fully loaded and on the gun?
  9. That's either Jody's (tacticool) or Belt Fed's of the S&W 15-22 forum.
  10. I'm a big fan of the Blackhawk serpa's. Especially the way it holds you gun by the trigger guard. I've been upside down (don't ask) and the gun never moved. And... it converts to a leg holster for tactical fun.
  11. That's a re-stipple grip reduction done by Boresight Solutions. It helps fix the grip angle, thickness of the grip, etc. Glocks are known for their "brick" like feel and this helps make it easier to hold with small hands.
  12. I read the new issue of Custom Combat Handguns and sent my Glock 21 slide off to have it milled to accept a Red-Dot. I'm thinking of going Leupold Delta Point ($$$) or maybe a Burris Fast Fire ($). While it's there it's getting a 45 degree mill on the corners and nose. If I get the right barrel (if it's in stock) it will get some sight windows and a compensator as well. I can't wait. Here's a picture of a Glock with similar mods:
