22-250 is marginally more powerful than the .223

I had a buddy who swore by a Marlin lever action in 444 and 45-70 for boar

The guys I know use 308 AR's. .223 should be fine at close range with hunting ammo and a properly placed head shot. That said personally I would use something bigger if available.

Gary Fisher had a lifetime warranty on frames...I fairly heavy and was concerned about the carbon fiber holding up to my heavy ass

ha ha I tricked out my bike as well. Stupid $1800 cost me like $4000 by the time I was done with upgrades and tools. The letters XTR must be expensive to print, because you know they dont cost much more to make. The bike is a Gary Fisher Sugar 3 Disk I have Marzocchi Forks, Cane Creek AD5 shock, the swingarm is carbon fiber, Hayes hydraulic disks, XTR Cranks, pedals,chainrings, shifts etc...anyhow you get the deal
