  2. Funny you say that. I was thinking the same thing the other night and PRESTO here's an announcement. It frigging money in the bank for them too. BTW they announced a new AR today too. If Bill Sr rolls over any faster in his grave he will hit plaid speed
  3. Sounds like they are a bit defensive that they look similar to Black Dog Magazines
  4. Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR), announces that owners of America’s most popular autoloading rimfire rifle, the Ruger® 10/22®, can enjoy the extended fun offered by the new 25-round BX-25™ magazine. The new, genuine Ruger BX-25 magazine features the same correct angle feed lips that deliver the famous reliability of factory BX-1™ 10-round rotary magazines. The BX-25 magazine will work in all vintages of Ruger 10/22 and SR-22® rifles, as well as all Ruger Charger™ pistols. The BX-25 magazines have stainless steel feed lips and use a stainless steel “constant force” spring. The anti-tilt follower is injection molded from Celcan - a high lubricity polyacetal. The magazine body halves are injection molded from durable glass-filled nylon. “These are genuine Ruger factory magazines. We designed them. We didn’t license and rebrand someone else’s magazines,” said Ruger CEO Michael Fifer. “We tested the BX-25 magazines extensively and they work as well as the original Ruger BX-1 rotary magazine, the gold standard for rimfire autoloading reliability,” he continued. The Ruger 10/22 is available in many configurations, including the special edition officially licensed Ruger Boy Scout™ 10/22 Rifle. Millions of shooters worldwide have learned the basics of firearms safety and marksmanship using a Ruger 10/22. It is a favorite of small bore hunters, competitive shooters and target shooters everywhere. Over six million Ruger 10/22’s have been produced since it was introduced in 1964. For more information on the new Ruger BX-25 magazine go to Ruger.com/BX-25.
  5. Glock specific or one of the universal models?
  6. and it saved me over hundred bucks. I had Glock Night Sights in my cart and was debating the sight pushing tool.
  7. that makes sense of course
  8. I have a left RWS pistol model 6L or something like that. It was stupid expensive because of the left handed grips. Im digging that out now. BTW while not as loud as a .22 it's no secret Im shooting something when the Hammerli fires.
  9. I passed up a great price on a Sako TRG because of the color :P
  10. Many complaints saying they are now about 4 threads too short, even shorter than the Ruger slotted. The rotten auction site has some alternatives
  11. The proof is in those who you choose to spend internet time with
  12. Ive learned it's a 12-24. That's a crappy start >:(
  13. Did you see the kick ass price at stocky stock?
  14. Ambidextrous. I would have got the three way but the only stock in stock was in Olive...yuk. Black with white web is nice. Im thinking of getting one of those Leupold .22 Rimfire Scopes. Why hold back now LOL
  15. Thanks! Im just guessing the stock wont have a screw in the box
  16. I decided to spend my Friday lunches shooting my Hammerli Storm Elite pellet rifle. Today was the first such Friday. I must say I am totally impressed with the accuracy and power of this rifle. I spent 55 minutes sitting on a stone wall ripping lead through some 3" square stickers attached to a piece of cardboard. It was a nice break in the middle of a crappy day
  17. God knows if I order one from Brownells the $4.99 part will end up costing me an easy $100. Does anyone know the thread, bolt length and head diameter?
  18. My stock shipped today from Florida, should have by end of next week
  19. that is one strange rifle
  20. They damaged my gun, shipped it back and denied what happened. When Ruger introduced the Redhawk with the notches in the barrel for scope rings I sent mine in for a new barrel. What I got back was a revolver that looked like it had vise jaws embedded embedded in the top strap. Like the gun was gripped there to do the barrel work. Said they got it that way when I called them on it.
  21. I ended up buying this. The price clobbered everyone else.
  22. My one experience with them was awful and inexcusable. I have forgiven them with the old man now gone.
  23. Good to know. Im a very good woodworker but Im not looking for that kind of stock. Unfinished would be fine.
