  1. lol!! Good point...take care
  2. i bought a gun at wally couple of years ago, the sporting goods manager escorted me to the front door/ company policy, i really didnt care, got a good price on the gun and would do it again...also i buy ammo in the sporting goods section, just have to pay for it at their counter, not up front/no escort, but prices have risen maybe 10% and the selection is still good in south Fla.
  3. wally world in florida is now full of ammo..when it was scarce all i did was pad the pockets of their sporting good clerks and i would get a call when the caliber i wanted came in and they would hold what i wanted..shhhss dont tell..lol!
  4. some dedicated/conversion kit uppers need a rounded hammer, instead of a notched hammer, which normaly come with AR lowers. pretty easy and cheap to change over.. this assisted me on a couple of issues i had..I have since sold my AR'S for various reasons and just deal with 22lr rifles of asorted varity, amoung other powder burners..good luck, ranbo1213 Spikes converion kit Velocity Firearmsdedicated 22lr upper
  5. MOSSBERG 377 Plinkster anyone own/ shoot one. just purchsed one at a great price and added a firing pin/ ammo tube. i have not been to the range yet, just looking for reviews. thx
  6. i dont know about that, but i keep load'en up on federal 550 bulk and winchester 555 boxes at wally world, they would lose alot of profits going w/bumberg!!
  7. went back to the range with the velocity upper, we had to do some de-burring with 600 sand paper on some areas of the bolt, and then velocity wanted to check it out also..they shipped it back and forth on their dime and checked the ejector area ..we shot at least 200 rds of 3 different types of Federal and Winchester 555 hollow point, it seem to like the Federal better, with just a few stove pipes, nothing major, had a great time with it!! i would recommend it, just be sure to advise vleocity to make sure the bolt comes polished and /or check it out yourself...i use a Delton Lower with it..I am sure with continued use it will get even smoother..trying to figure out how to post pix..thx
  8. just put together a DTI lower with a dedicated Velocity Firearms 22lr upper..cant wait to go to the range!

very nice Marlin..i just got one in trade w/o shooting it yet, hopefully soon...it does have a custom pad on the butt though [quote author=rodent.22 277917] Don't forget the Marlin! A 336 chambered in .35 Remington, I've owned it since 1982....it will get your shoulder's attention if you don't hold it tight....LOL
