Try one of these. Mako Group Fab Defense 5 Power Red Dot Magnifier MD5XMGNF Best of both worlds. Mounts right behind red dot. or this 2X red dot Barska 2X30 Red Dot Scope AC11090

I bought one for my Father and myself. His is a Knockoff 551 mine is a 557. They look very close but the image does seem to have a reflection inside but its not bad. I have not used either one yet they are mounted but have not been shot. I paid $56.oo each for them Both are on 22's his on a Tac'ed out 10-22 mine on a MP15-22. My thought was most of the low rent red dots are imports from China so I bought these off a seller in Canada, and go figure made in China

Well here is a couple of pictures of it. The holster is actually for a Ruger LCP so you know the size is exactly the same. It fits perfectly :thumb:

Yes but Bad press gets more BAD press. Its what people want to see. Unfortunately it is also what they remember.

Oh yeah I got to run a few caps thru this bad boy (Taurus 738) that is. My first impression is the gun is a keeper. Nice pull on the trigger not to bad of a kick for such a lightweight and small gun. The sights if you can call them that are the only drawback but it is meant for concealment and not long distance accuracy. I like :thumb: :thumb: Plus ammo availability is a concern I bagged a box of 50 and a 20 box of some +p self defense rounds when I bought the gun. I also was extremley lucky today and bagged 250 more practice rounds at Cabelas.

Its probably a wiser choice for the intended purpose. But that Lil Guy is just flat cool you should hear it bark with a 22MAG and a 1 1/8 inch long barrel.

Well I bought a TCP738 today. I read the reviews in a few different magazines and looked on line. I was tempted to go with the larger 709 Taurus which is a 9mm but once I got it in my hand it really is not that much smaller than my Taurus 745C which is a Millennium Pro 45-acp compact. A real plus to me was that Taurus is manufacturing the 738 and 709 here in the USA. :thumb: For how I like to carry (front pocket) the 380 is the choice I made. Luckily the shop had an excellent price on the gun and also had some 380ammo held back for folks with a new gun purchase so I actually got a couple boxes of ammo to go test it out with.

Very nice I am sure she will let you shoot it for her :thumb:

Sounds more like a total idiot. He should have at least announced his intentions to you before reaching for it. I was pulled over for speeding once and the first thing the officer asked was "do you have any weapons in the vehicle?" I was happy to cooperate and do exactly as he asked. I left with an unloaded 45 and no ticket :thumb:

I bought my MP 15-22 last August, more or less on a whim. Its good to know that, this time at least I did good. I do love this gun its been my GO TO since I got it. :thumb:

How does it hold up to cleaning solvents ? I may think about the Urban Camo on my HiPoint 995 :thumb:

Those are awesome :thumb:

I used a roll of 14GA wire I had lying around and clamped some vise grips to it and then threw the wire over a limb waaay up in an effort to keep squirrels from eating all the seed. They do however slide down the wire head first to the feeder. "Lil Bastards" Oh and I like Squirrels too....lightly breaded and pan fried

I am thinking on purchasing one of these Taurus TCP-738 380cal. I currently carry a NAA mini (22mag) with the folding grip and on occasion a Taurus 745c Millennium Pro. But even though its a compact its like lugging a boat anchor around. I carry the NAA religiously it is always on me (when permitted) of course. I am thinking on this being a somewhere in bettween gun and small enough that I will carry it. I really like the looks and size of the new TCP and I have two Taurus pistols and have had excellent service from them. Has anyone either had any experience with this yet or read any reviews on it?

Been swapping things around over the winter this is what has landed on my MP for now. I haven't been out to sight it in as of yet not sure if the iron sights will function as a co-witness with my 557(KO) or not yet. if not I may wind up with a Mako 3X multiplier behind it.

I actually paid $188.00 for the original gun the stock was $60 from midway and the Scope that is on it currently was around $65 from optics planet. It is reliable as they come it has a healthy trigger pull and is quite accurate. I am no sharpshooter but 3" to 4" groups at 50 to 75 yards is OK with me.
