I have the ACER ONE, just like yours. Used it for my last deployment. It fits in my get away bag.

The local Gun Shop has one for $449 + tax. Much less than the Colt @ damn near $700. For that price I would but the 5.56. Glad that I am not in CA anymore, that place is insane.

Colt v. S&W: Very unscientific range report:

New to the .22 world, armed with a SA-XD 40, 5". Love it, just ammo is too high for daily drills. ANYWAY.... With the Colt you might have to adjust the screw at the rear of the 'bolt'. This has been brought up on other sites. I am planning to purchase the S&W 15-22 this week. Of course the only ammo they had at Wally World was REM Gold. We'll see if this gives my the same issues as for you. Like everyone else, your info has been GREAT!! Thank you -
I am a newbie to the .22 world. From Kansas Active Army Going to buy the M&P 15-22 here in a few weeks. Trying to get more info on this and other TAC 22's. Look forward to hearing from like minded Americans who enjoy fire arms.
