it seems like the colts are hit or miss. Or maybe the people who are getting poor results arent cleaning/taking care of them well. But it seems if its between the colt and s&w that the s&w would be a better buy, its also cheaper which is a plus haha O and those rugers look cool. I have a ruger 22 mag which i really do like.

like i said before i was leaning towards the colt because of the looks but now im kinda liking the new s&w m&p. Im gonna go look at one at a store and see how it feels. Is the polymer durable? I know the colt was made out of metal but i hear it might crack easily.

Hi everyone my name is Michael and I live in Louisiana. I do most of my hunting in Mississippi where my dad owns some hunting land, but occasionally do some in Louisiana. The idea of getting a tactical 22 came to me when saw the "colt" m4 in an academy magazine a few weeks ago. I cant even tell you how frustrating it is to pick one of these guns. I really like the looks of the "colt" m4 ops, but it seems that some people have problems with them and others dont. If the gun doesnt last i dont want to get it if it just looks good. I will primarily use the rifle to hunt rabbits and other small game and also some target shooting. If anyone can help me choose it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
