A little help please I'm trying to change out to the heavy barrel, the instructions say counter clockwise, I'm assuming that would mean with the barrel pointing away from me while holding the receiver, is this correct??

I called sig and they told me that it is not available, I found one for sale on another site and received it yesterday, I'll be taking it to the range next week for a try.

Does anyone make a dovetail to picatinny front sight adapter for the 522 classic ? I have the hand guard rail kit, want something for front top.

Thanks for the welcome, the weather has been keeping me from the outdoor range but my wife and had the chance to take the Sig to an indoor range put about 300 down range on a red dot great fun. And you are spot on, I love it, now my wife wants one so she's getting the swat, she just doesn't know it yet. ;D

Been looking at your site for a few weeks now, great info for a Tact22 newbie. Looking forward to learning a lot more. Just picked up a Sig 522 also have a Marlin 983s and a Glenfield mod 25.
