new to this forum, but familiar with imshur from our 308 forum. i live in western mass and shoot twice a month with all my toys (only weapons if they are used that way :thumb:) and shoot my gsg5 more often, cause let's face it, it's a far cheaper and just as good for training. i do have a question for those in the know, my gsg5 is having an issue with a bolt overrun type problem. i use high velocity rounds from various manufacturers but mostly federal game shock. the rounds will fire and the bolt cycles, but upon loading a new round it will sometimes mash in between the bolt face and the feed ramps. i didn't always have this issue, and i've tried new mags, dif rounds, cleaning after every range session like an obsessive compulsive, and yet nothing is working. it's an early first gen i bought in april 09, not sure if that will help.
