  1. I have blog that covers conversion kits for the Beretta 92FS/M9, Sig P226 and the Glock 19. http://pistol22conversion.blogspot.com/?view=classic All are excellent, except the Sig ranks a little lower due to the lack of the last round slide hold. There's an after-market follower but seems to have the potential to cause more harm than good. Other than that, all are great products.
  2. Those Beretta kits are very hard to find. If you want one, sign up on line to get an email notification and ORDER THE SAME DAY. It worked out for me and I picked up 2 of them. I have a little blog that talks about my 22lr kits for my pistols. http://pistol22conversion.blogspot.com/?view=classic Mainly informational for people looking for one for the 92FS/Sig P226 and the Glock 19.
  3. FYI, I am in N. Cal and ordered this through my FFL dealer. For 22LR rifles, pinned stock is not necessary. Bullet Button is also excluded since it is 22LR. The only CA PITA is the 10rd mag, but I've seen 25rd mags here so not sure what that's about. Get rid of the Democrats, and the bullet button and mag limit will go away.
  4. Here's my build. EoTech XPS Magpul MOE Grip Magpul CTR Stock Magpul AFG1 [list type=decimal] [*] [*] Next is a Blackout Flash hider. After about 3,000 rnds, the rear pin is a bit loose. Anyone else have this issue and is there a good fix?
  5. Where did you find the 92 Practice Kit on line?
  6. AFG1 is wider and longer than AFG2. AFG2 is mainly for M4 carbine 7" fore grip. I have the AFG1 on my HK.
  7. My last outing to the range, I must have put 500+ rounds through the rifle and noticed that the rear receiver pin is starting to back out pretty easily. Has anyone else had this problem?
  8. I posted on my blog how to add a Magpul MOE grip to your HK416 and or any other style M4 grip you'd like. You'll need to do pretty much the same thing. All in all, it took about 50 minutes to do end to end. http://hk416d22lr.blogspot.com/p/moe-grip.html Hope you guys find it useful and get UMAREX to make standard parts for something so simple it shouldn't be this "hard". It actually was quite easy. Very happy with my mod and its rock solid.
  9. Here's a blog I'm doing. http://hk416d22lr.blogspot.com/ Tonight I'm going to post how to put a Magpul MOE grip to replace the stock HK one. It does take time with a Dremel to make it work. But once done, its awesome. For some reason, I never liked the feel of the stock grip and I have the MOE on several M4/XM177s and like that consistent purchase with the palm of my hand.
  10. Thanks for the clarification on how the DOJ and BATF look at what is and is not an assault rifle. So, even with a 22lr conversion kit, you need the bullet button installed and only a 10 rd mag (how unfortunate). Is that a true interpretation? If he built his on AR-15 lower and had a CMMG 22LR upper, he'd still need the bullet button or not?
  11. Here's mine. [img width=680 height=346]http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u273/mypigfeet/IMG_7944.jpg
  12. Here's a pic of mine.
