There is a guy (okfirearms) on You Tube that does a review on this RIS you should check it out. It is real stable, the one that I held fit nice and solid ( I have a GSG5SD no rails)

Hey Mastercamper, have you checked out the Zairsoft GSG-5 Metal RIS it is a direct fit no mod. It is a bit more money $62.95 from Zairsoft. Very nice looking and good fit.

I think the gene pool need more Chlorine ;D

Hey, Been shooting for a lot of years, but just got a GSG-5SD a couple weeks back. I really like it alot, the fun factor is real high. Looking into some mods for it (hammer strut, trigger job, and an SEF lower) to start. I also shoot a 45 XD, 38 cal. 2in wheelgun (my carry weapon), shotgun, and 50cal. blackpowder. I do some bird and deer hunting, but really enjoy tactical shooting (IDPA). I like the site, lots of great info and helpful people. Thanks Ron
