thanks guys, does anyone have a sd with a different handguard installed?

thanks everyone, i got the conversion kit, but i am going to wait a little bit before i install it. I want to make sure i do it right the first time.

Finally got my SD from buds today... they took forever to ship, but it was worth the wait. I went ahead and put the push pins, red dot, and butt stock on until my conversion kit arrives... I think i am going to get a tri rail system and see how that look also. I'll post more pics when I get everything setup the way i want it.... I am open to suggestion and comments good or bad!

i see, do you know of any detailed video's out there for this... I think i'll check it out before i tear mine down all the way!

rbwhite, do you plan on putting different handguards on your sd? I have one on the way and was curious to see what it would look like or if it would look nice with the big faux can.

Hey everyone, i am waiting on my second gsg 5 to get in from budsgunshop... I got the 522 sd version to replace the first gen i had sold a few years back. I am on more boards than i can count and look forward to learning more about these little plinkers! I'll post a pic of my gsg when I get it, it should be here by next week at the latest, but if you have ever ordered from buds you know how that could turn out.
