My neighbor is a dealer and going to the Shot Show next week. I told him to check it out as I am really interested in one after seeing the releases. Since I'll never be able to buy the real thing this would work for me. Besides I'm shooting more rimfire now days than centerfire. Price range I have seen is 600 to 700 and I can manage that somehow. Now to wait for his feed back.
Black Dog Machine drums are good to go, have two of them and they work well in my AR 22lr's. Black Dog makes a good product and stands behind it form my experience. I find the drums are easier to load than the stick mags.
Just joined up and thought I'd say hello. I have gotten back to the joy of shooting 22lr. This was do to the cost of ammo and age. Still enjoy my Ar's but the old 30 cal's only now and then. Just bought a SGS-522SD and it is a hoot. Also have a 16" Spikes and 20" CMMG. Have already gotten some good tips for upgrades from this site and looking forward to spending some time here off and on.
I switched the 6 pt stock that came with my Plum Crazy for a 4 pt. I was making a XM clone. All parts install or remove the same as an alum lower. No Different. In other words what works for a standard AR for parts will work for a Plum Crazy. Go for it!
