:thumb: Thanks, that is what I needed to know. My 22 shoots a lot more accurate after it is a little warm. About 10 shots then it is aiming great. Those first ten seam a little wild. Of course it could be me hat needs the warming up. I have not shot that much yet.

This may be a very basic question but I really don't know. Why does a rifle shoot better after the barrel gets hot/warm ? Thanks.

Thanks. I have looked at all these guns and they sure look good. There are so many choices out there it makes my head spin. I am sure to find one or three :-)

I have seen other photos of grouping comparing Federal to another brand. Each time the Federal was all over the map with brand "x" having better groupings. I have only used Federal but I am a new gun owner. Once these Federal are gone I want to find a better quality/more reliable round. The CCI grouping looks good. Are there other brands that are more constant than Federal? Or is every brand better?

Wanted to say hello. I too have a 22 rifle and enjoy target shooting with it. I have been thinking about a 22 pistle but don't know what to get yet. I am also wondering about ammo performance. I have seen some photos that indicate some have better accuracy than others. I have not shot enough to begin to know what is even available much less what is better.
