I'm trying to meet more Cali shooters and maybe have a gtg shoot and training day. I live in San Diego and shoot in several spots.

I lie in Cali as well the best place I have found is at the delmar gun show or online during a sale believe it or no amazons prices and free shipping are hard to beat.

Why use a scope that big who's effective range is only 100 yards

Well I clean it and bore snake the barrel the after the first fifty rounds I bore snake the barrel then again at 100. The I let loose. Most important thing is to clean if before you shoot the first time.

How bout a do it yourself write up on it like what and how did you tape up also what paint and where did you buy it?

I love shooting the gun a lot very accurate I'm adding a primary arms red dot in a 45 degree mount tomorr
