My 522. Took pics of it at my home away from home (my work is 500 miles from my house, go figure.) Sorry to necropost, but this is the only post I've seen relating to what I'm thinking about doing. Mad, how did you feel about dropping the jing on a optic that is almost as expensive as the gun it went on? I've got about $800 into my SIG522, and I've been debating a 512 or a 516 for it. I've got a XPS2.0 on my AR and love it. Just trying to justify the expense on a .22LR.
Mad, I'm having the same issue as the OP in the thread you linked. I honestly believe that the looseness issue is causing FTF's. I've got an idea on a fix. I got the fix on the way. If it works, I'll post up a picture.
Even the 10 rounder (I'm in Commiefornia) wobbles too. This whole gun has been a PIA. Stock came pinned for no reason. Mags wobble in the well. FTF on the last few rounds, doesn't matter which mag I use. And yesterday, I spent about two hours trying to dial the BUIS in. Pretty much gave up. Thanks for the reply though. At least I know that the mags should be tight in the well.
Anyone have an issue with Blackdog or other magazines rattling around in the mag well? It is driving me nuts. My .556 mags lock in tight and it is annoying to here my .22 mags flopping around. Had a bunch of FTF issues the first time I shot it. Not sure if it is do to ammo, or the mag shifting around in the well.
