Pistol Upper on a Rifle Lower

Will the 522 pistol upper pop right on to a 522 rifle lower?  Thought this would be a fun suppressed shorty.  With the appropriate paperwork of course...

I dont know if it would work or not, but thats a lot of hassle for a .22

Not really.  I have several friends that done with AR22 conversions.  Looks cool. Fun to shoot.  And super cheap ammo.  The paperwork is easy, especially since I already have a corporation.

Before I buy a swat pistol, I'd like to know if it will drop in.  The know the smith M&P works like that as I saw someone at a gun store do it.  I'm buying a suppressor for my my AR anyway (it will work on the 22), so why not short barrel it?
