Microgunner
Finally found one (wholesale). Just ordered it along with an extra mag, ammo and a Blackhawk Serpa holster. Now all I need is a .40S&W barrel to make it a (3) caliber P226.
crashoverrideplik
That stuff is pretty cool. I got a similar kit for my Glock the other day. I can't wait to shoot cheap ammo out of it.

Microgunner
The DA trigger reach on the P226 is a bit much for me so I'm ordering the SIG short trigger. I guess I'm not the only one with this complaint. I'm also going to order a set of the slimmer aluminum grips from gungrip. What do y'all think I should have engraved on them? I'm thinking something evil.
imschur
Have you tried one with the reduced grip like mine?
Microgunner
I just found I can get an E-2 conversion kit from SIG that will solve all my problems. No need for the aluminum grips now. Thanks.

Microgunner
sweet!!!! I want to get the 9mm That's on my list as well, along with the E2 conversion, short trigger, short return trigger and Blackhawk Xiphos tactical light. Already bought the holster that fits the light. Microgunner
Shot the P226 with the .357SIG upper installed today. Woo Hoo...fun..fun..fun. Recoil was far less than I was led to believe, less snappy than my .40s, but it is loud. Maybe the P226 design aids in recoil control? Don't know. But I gotta say, other than ammo costs the .357SIG is a lot of fun to shoot, and accurate too. Glad I've got one.

Microgunner
Just ordered the 9mm X-Change kit and an extra mag for this P226. This makes (3) calibers now. All I'm lacking is a .40S&W barrel, the E2 grip conversion and the short trigger to complete my (4) caliber P226 project.
Microgunner
First day of the new week and my 9mm X-Change kit as well as an extra mag, new holster and ammo was waiting for me. That's three calibers so far, all I lack is a .40S&W barrel, E-2 conversion, short trigger and short reset trigger.
