RudyN Posted June 7, 2011 Report Share Posted June 7, 2011 I have a 10/22 that looks like a AR type rifle; Tapco Infuse stock and Tech sights.What I want to do now is buy a 10/22 and get an oversize barrel and stock for same. I am looking for some recommendations on what to get. I have ideas on what to replace in the inside of the receiver, but am not sure about stocks and barrels. Any help would be appreciated. asmurff Posted June 7, 2011 Report Share Posted June 7, 2011 Do you have a price range to stay in? You can easily spend a small fortune on high end barrels, triggers and stocks. Or you could start with a 10/22 Tactical which comes with a heavy target barrel and bi-pod longer range shooting is what you want. I'd also think the SR-22 would except any width barrel without modification, but I can't sweat to it.My ATI stock will not fit the target barrels without a fair amount of dremel work.
