inter1 Posted August 4, 2011 Report Posted August 4, 2011 Hi.I am thinking of buying a CMMG Sierra 22 LR upper to go with my self assembled Olympic lower fitted with a JP trigger.I have read that could turn into an unreliable set up because of the JP spring being lighter than a stock spring will give lighter strikes.I only read this once in a posting ,anyone as any idea if this set up would work or not ? Thanks for any suggestions. Danny.
imschur Posted August 4, 2011 Report Posted August 4, 2011 I have not heard that before. Is your trigger running the reduced power springs? If there is an issue you can spend $10 on a JP alternative spring set
inter1 Posted August 4, 2011 Author Report Posted August 4, 2011 Hi. Thanks for the reply.I build this lower over 10 years ago, just do not remember ,but i am allmost sure it is just a standard trigger.I just have to try and find out. This rifle as not seen daylight in many years,I have a C&R licence and all my shooting was with bolt action military guns. Danny.
