how to get buffer tube off?

so just bought a single point strap and End Plate Rear Sling Mount for my colt.now my ?? is how hell do i get this think off so i can mount the end plate?lol thanks.soon as i can find camera charger ill post some pics :grin:

1. take out the buttstock... pull down the lever adjuster, then pull out

2. unscrew the allen screw at the end of the tube

3. then use that long allen wrench that came with the colt m4 and loosen the screw inside the tube

then its down hill from ther

I did that a while back, and the sling attachment device did not fit on the Colt - the ID was way too big. Let us know how yours works out.
