It has been a good summer for shooting here in NW Ohio, Had my Colt out a few weeks ago, ran several hundred also. I have been thinking about getting one of THESE.
Story from the NRA They all say the same thing - Running at capacity. So far no one has stepped up to increase capacity. That would be a large investment.
I have a set of five factory 17" alloy rims from a 2005 Jeep Liberty. They have been blasted and are ready for powder coating and clear coating. The Jeep center caps and lug nuts are included. Too heavy to ship, pick up in the Toledo Ohio area. $450
I purchased my Colt .22 in 2009, paid over $600. I see the latest email ad from CDNN Sports has one for $289. Oh well, it was one of the first AR.22's and has been a real hoot!
Once you click "Reply", at the bottom of the reply box you can attach files, images have to be smaller than 1000 x 750. Or you can upload pics to a hosting service, like photobucket, etc, then just post a link. BTW, welcome to Rimfire World! If you navigate HERE, you will also find several threads on installing after market hand guards on the trusty Colt. TM
The hybrid stock would look good. Or, if you go with wood, consider a different type of wood for the comb. That way, you don't have to stress trying to match old wood to new wood.
