asmurff
Seven of us who shoot in the Tactical Rimfire matchs at the club got together today to do a bit if practice. Had lots of fun and learned I'm going to have to spend considerable time with my Buckmark with the Sightmark red dot scope to be any good with it. I kept losing the dot to target alignment during our movement stage, the dot disappearing out of the viewing field. I got there first and set up a spinner target at 15 yds, it has a top circle of 2-1/2 inches and I could consistently hit it, so hitting a target without having to rapidly move to it or while moving myself isn't a problem. Had no problem with the brightness of the dot in the sun either which was one of my big fears going into the scope. So I guess i'll get back to doing dry-fire practice at home with it. imschur
Are you moving or is the target moving?
asmurff
We are moving. During our matches we usually have one stage requiring us to fire on the move. Plus one requiring the use of barricades. The director told me yesterday he is trying to get the go ahead for a Texas Star target, which looks like fun http://www.anythingmetal.com/projects/gun_targets.htm
