There are two thumb screws on the left side, that you can loosen and it comes off the top rail for the handle.The front sight can be removed too, but its more difficult, and you will need some sort of replacement to hold the handguard.You probably want the M16 SPR....which already has the handle removed, and a flipdown front sight.Bear in mind that they make 3 other AR style versions too.M4 OPS, M16, M16SPR Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I agreed to buy it from a local guy i know and I didnt ask. too late now that Ive given him my word for the sale. Oh, well. guess I'll have to figure something out. techmike Posted September 26, 2011 Report Share Posted September 26, 2011 Hi Noximus, I have the M4 OPS, and I removed the front sight - it is pinned to the barrel shroud, and after removal leaves some ugly holes behind.
