Does anyone make a clamp on type? Mine has the A-2 style flash hider, and i really dont want to mess with that, or get anyhting threaded. Anyone point me in the right direction?

Yes, a few manufacturers make suppressors that utilize a special mount that mounts to the flashhider, but if I remember correctly, they require a slightly modified A2 flash hider specifically for the mount. Knights Armament, and Gemtech are two that come to mind.

However, none of them make a .22 type suppressor with that setup. You could always go for a .223 suppressor which would work, and allow you to use them on both the .22 and any future .223 AR's that you aquire.

As far as faux cans...none that I know of.
