3S1K
I have 2 of my BDM AR15/Sig 522 mags that aren't feeding right in my AR with Ciener Conversion. The last 3 rounds feed straight up, if I'm lucky just the last 1 will jam. They are getting caught between the charging handle and the bolt. 2 all black mags have this problem but 2 of my smoked mags do not. I haven't had a chance to try them lately in my Sig 522. These have been used for 3-4 months.Any Idea why they are doing this?
imschur
First I have heard of this. Can you swap the guts and see if the problem moves? BDM folks are pretty good. Might not hurt to give them a call.
3S1K
Here is a message from a BDM rep on another forum. I just found this out.We have stopped production for all Glass Filled Nylon magazines. Email me your name, shipping information, phone and I will issue you an RMA #. After I give you the RMA#, I will mail you our X Form magazine as a replacement. I will also include a prepaid return label so you can ship back the defective magazine at no cost. This applies to everyone with Glass Filled Nylon Magazines. Racheal@blackdogmachinellc.net
adobewalls
Just wanted to add that I had a couple of the Glass Filled Mags from BDM that had problems. I contacted BDM at the e-mail in the previous post and they sent me the new mags, with a return shipping label for the Glass Filled Mags. So far the replacement X Mags have been reliable. Madhouse
Glad to hear the new mags are working well so far.I've got mags stamped BDM, Model 1 Sales, and Sig - they all seem identical and I've never had any feed issues with any of them.
