Anyone gone thru this process before? What time frame should I be looking at? After the trust is set up, do I just need to find a dealer and start buying? I know you have to submit a 'Form 4' to the ATF or something. Is that where the waiting begins?Any advice is greatly appreciated!
imschur Posted June 5, 2012 Report Posted June 5, 2012 Well if your dealer does not have stock you can place the order to get the ball rolling. The tranfer from a distributor/manufacturer can take a few weeks is the hardware is in stock. If it's not in stock you can wait a long time just to get the suppressors to the dealer.You need the trust to mail in the form 4 to the batfe. Once they get the forms you are looking at 8 months more waiting.
